Cambridge C1 Academy

Every Part of C1 Advanced, One Exam at a Time

TCKR Labs - FZCO School packages: No

Cambridge C1 Academy is the largest of the four academies, with 1,472 exams covering every part of C1 Advanced (CAE). You practise Use of English, Reading, Listening, Writing and Speaking task by task, read an explanation for every answer and get proposals, reports and essays corrected by AI. The first exam of each part is free in the browser.

For CAE candidates who need structured practice on the harder task types, it is an excellent pick.

What Cambridge C1 Academy does

C1 Advanced is the level many universities and employers ask for, and the exam shows it: longer texts, subtler distractors and a Writing paper that expects a formal register many learners were never taught. Cambridge C1 Academy, built by TCKR Labs, follows the CAE papers part by part across 1,472 exams, so each skill is trained in the same shape the examiners will test it.

Use of English at C1 level

There are 373 Use of English exams across Multiple Choice, Open Cloze, Word Formation and Keyword Transformation. At C1 these parts depend less on rules and more on choosing the collocation, linker or fixed phrase a skilled writer would use. Because every answer is explained, mistakes turn into useful notes.

Reading and Listening in depth

Reading has 254 exams across Long Text, Cross Matching, Missing Paragraphs and Multiple Matching. Cross Matching, which asks you to compare the views of several writers, is hard to find practice for elsewhere, and here it is well stocked. Listening has 220 exams with Extracts, Gapped Text, Multiple Choice and Multiple Matching, on real audio with speed control, ten-second skips, a transcript and explanations linked to the recording.

Writing with real feedback

The 300 Writing tasks cover Essay, Report, Review, Letter and Proposal. You write with a live word counter, request a correction and get a score, detailed feedback, suggestions and a list of grammar and spelling mistakes. At C1, where tone and organisation matter as much as accuracy, that feedback is valuable, and every task also has a model answer to show what a strong response looks like.

Speaking, simulations and new exams

Speaking has 325 exams for General Questions, Images, Bubbles Discussion and Final Discussion, with prompts, timings and a recorder that keeps everything on your device. The Exam Simulator runs a full Reading & Use of English, Listening or Writing paper against the clock, with no answers until the end, and compares your time with the real 1 h 30 min. The Exam Generator writes a new exam on any topic.

  • 1,472 C1 Advanced exams: every part of every paper, organised like the official CAE.
  • Cross Matching and Missing Paragraphs: plenty of practice for the harder Reading parts.
  • Scores and explanations: a mark out of 10 for each exam and a reason for each answer.
  • Real audio: speed control, ten-second skips, transcripts and linked explanations.
  • AI Writing correction: essays, reports, reviews, letters and proposals, with model answers.
  • Speaking recorder: every task with its prompts and timings, recorded only on your device.
